Help 14 years old and 200 pounds! :(

July 13th, 2011 Author: Amanda

Please help… I’ve been bigger than the rest of the kids at my school for as long as I can remember. I’ve been made fun of since the starting of the 6th grade because of this.

I was the ‘fat friend’ that was nothing more than a “ugly fat chick” to the boys. I began to literally hate myself, and I even resorted to cutting, which then my mom found out, and she made my depression worse, and when I got depressed, I ate. and ate. Last month I stepped on the scale- 200 pounds. I’m only 5’4!

I cried myself to sleep for weeks… last week I decided to try to diet, for what seemed like the billionth time, but I really want to stick to it. I can’t buy workout videos because I don’t have the money, and I can’t watch them online, because my internet is too slow..

I also never get healthy foods, I live with 9 other people and they’re all average weight and don’t need to eat healthier than usual, so it’s kind-of a ‘majority rules’ type thing. I just need some tips, I’d appreciate it soo much. Thank you

How to stick to a diet

January 14th, 2010 Author: sabrina zamora

Hi I’m 12 years old. I want to become healthy but I don’t know how to get started. I do exercises like running, crunches, and etc, but my diet is horrible. I’ve tried some before but I can never stick to it because it us too complicated for me. Do you think you could help?

Answer from Rumi
Hi Sabrina, on age of 12 is difficult to stick to anything without help and support. Why not ask for help from your parents. Show them this teen diet.

You need your parents’ support because they need to do the shopping of healthy foods. It help to thing of important things of life and to understand what you need. If you substitute emotions with food, than just go and find what you really need and don’t use food to tap you lack. If losing weight is important for you, than you will find a way how to stick to a diet.

Find a friend/buddy to workout with these exercise videos.

There is a party and want the perfect flat stomach!!!

January 13th, 2010 Author: Mirns

I’m 15 years old and i have a party and i have this great dress, but don’t have the perfect body! I have a small belly fat which I want to lose quick !!

My diet hasn’t been that good. I try to keep to a diet, but always end up eating something. But I do this because i don’t see anything different about my stomach, so I just go off the diet. I was wondering if you have a cheap and healthy diet that can get rid off my belly fat. And a also simple dance routine which I can do at home.

Everyone at school tells me that I have the perfect body, but I really don’t. Like when I look in the mirror my stomach is fine, but after a week or so, I see my stomach being fat which I really don’t like. It just suddenly appears and then goes. Hope you can help me…
THANK YOU

Answer from Rumi
Hi Mirns, it seems you don’t have big issue with your stomach which is good because you can flat abs very soon. You need to eat the right foods, see this diet for teens, it will help you to flatten the stomach.

Also do every day this free ab workout.

This is a good dance DVD Teen Tone: Extreme Dance Workout

If you have more questions use the comments bellow. I will be happy to help you and your friends :-)

take care,
Rumi

Have about 200 pounds to lose

December 8th, 2009 Author: Linda

Hi! My name is Linda I just recently turned 19 I weigh about 310 pounds at the moment ( I used to weigh 350-355) and I am 5’2. I just recently lost about 40 pounds with the help of tae kwon do and a vegetarian diet.

I want to at least reach 125 although I know that is going to take a while being under 290 will be a fantastic start! I have tried every diet out there nutrisystem was not for me I actually got sick form it.

I have done bootcamp type workouts but working out in groups make me feel uncomfortable. I just started college and really want to start losing more weight.

I’ve never had a boyfriend and even though I pretend it doesn’t bother me it really does. I have overcome so much (self-injury, Bipolar disorder, anxiety, ADHD and I fought so hard to get into college) and this is the last thing I want to overcome…my weight.

IT’s the only thing left that’s standing in my way of a truly happy full life. I’m only 19 I should be dating going to amusement parks things like that but I’m too afraid for the fear of not fitting into seats and being judged. This truly would mean a lot to me!

that's me of course the big one in the white >_<

I am a 200 pounds 14 year old

December 7th, 2009 Author: Tiffany

I have been overweight my entire life. Because of this, I get teased on a regular basis. Girls don’t want to be my friend because I’m the “fat kid”. Boys don’t talk to me because I’m unattractive. Due to the continuous teasing, I became extremely depressed.

I would not talk to anyone, and even contemplated cutting. Finally, I realized one day that the best thing I could do for me was to lose weight.

I have been trying for 4 straight years to lose weight. I ask my parents to let me join a gym, to buy healthy foods, to teach me to workout and to eat healthy. They are always saying that they will help, that they will eat healthy along with me and help me become the size I desire. Read the rest of this entry »
